OPERATIF! is proud to keep our rich vocal heritage alive. Lovers of opera and song, plus complete newcomers, delight in their productions of concerts, intimate opera, public and special events.Proudly independent, OPERATIF!’s full time operation began in 1994 and is sustained by loyal concert patronage and corporate sponsorship.

The OPERATIF! annual performance schedule includes sparkling Dinner Show events and larger public concerts, numerous corporate and special event engagements. An extremely popular Daytime Concert series, presented in Brisbane and numerous centres in South East Queensland complete their busy schedule. Touring outside of this region takes place when invited by local Arts Councils or associations.





In 2012, for the eighth consecutive year, OPERATIF! will headline and produce an annual Opera Festival on Norfolk Island. OPERATIF! has now also completely taken over the production and marketing of this event. A recent collaboration has been Italian Week in May, 2011 where OPERATIF! was invited to mount a number of Italian themed opera and song concerts. Special guest was visiting Sicilian tenor, Antonio Nicolosi.

OPERATIF!'s performers are some of Queensland's finest professionals, each a well-known solo artist in their own right. Guests from interstate or New Zealand also feature in the line-up from time to time. OPERATIF! is renowned for the high standard of their work, their creativity and great  entertainment value. OPERATIF! artists always costume in glamorous gowns and elegant tails, creating a 'classy' visual image. A dash of humour and a warm presentation style ensures a great rapport with audiences.

OPERATIF! has produced full seasons of opera for events including the Brisbane Festival. Given the company's vast experience, OPERATIF! has also been invited to create many inaugural events including 'Opera in the Outback' Undarra, 'Opera in the Rainforest' Maleny, ' ABC Opera in the Park' Brisbane River Stage, 'Opera in the Forest' Buderim and 'Opera in the Amphitheatre Noosa/Cooroy.
