About Us

Accolades from audiences and critics alike pepper OPERATIF!'s performance history. With performances designed to celebrate some of the most popular pieces in a diverse vocal repertoire, OPERATIF! concerts have always been appealing both for confirmed lovers of opera and song and for newcomers. OPERATIF!'s commitment to presenting talented performers and to ensuring our rich vocal heritage lives on for today's audiences is well known. As well as countless concert and special event performances, three fully-staged opera productions were received with enthusiasm and critical acclaim. Their 20 plus years of presenting concert series, operas and mini Festivals remains a source of great pride for Stewart and Jennifer.

In recent years, OPERATIF! has entered the travel arena, developing and hosting their own Music Lovers Tours. This new venture quickly took off and has yielded client testimonials that are equally glowing. Jennifer and Stewart liken creating a tour to creating a good performance...with the need to excite, entice and entertain throughout, a common thread.

OPERATIF!'s own Music Lovers Tours, provide the opportunity for clients to indulge their passions for travel and music, with like-minded companions. Each tour is designed and implemented from the ground up by Stewart and Jennifer who also personally host each one. The focus of Music Lovers Tours is not intended to be 'academic' but rather a sharing of the 'good things in life', including opera and music performances. Recent travel successes have been sold-out tours to Turkey, Southern Italy & Sicily, Northern Italy, several Handa – 'Opera on the Harbou'r tours as well as tours to take in Operas at Sydney Opera House. There has been a memorable musical cruise charter in Burma/Myanmar, entitled 'On the Road to Mandalay,' a delightful musical cruise charter in the Bay of Island's, the Bohemian Rhapsody tour from Saltzburg to Budapest, the Verdi Opera Festival in Parma, Italy and many 'Opera in Paradise' Festivals in the Pacific. There are plenty more tours in the planning and whilst it's often necessary to 'reserve a place' these days before tours go on sale, clients who receive and read the email news are always informed of what is coming up so they don't miss out. These tours always proceed and in most cases are completely sold out!
