OPERATIF! are expert at creating truly memorable evenings where the delights of food and wine marry with superb entertainment. The evenings range from elegant affairs at five star establishments to fun ‘Spaghetti Opera’ evenings presented in a local community venue.

The musical programs for these evenings can be themed…( A Night in Vienna/Dinner on Broadway/Viva Italia/Spaghetti Opera/ Dinner at the Opera/Dinner at Chez Maxims) or simply feature a mixed program of favourite opera and song.

As few as three artists can ably present a splendid evening’s entertainment or for particular themes of occasions, more singers or musicians, (a string trio, a piano accordionist etc) can be added.

Join us for a fabulous and fun night of opera, operetta, light opera and Italian song as OPERATIF! present their third Dinner show at this glorious, recently-renovated venue. The Toreador Song and Habenera from Carmen, Love Duet from La Boheme, solos and duets from Die Fledermaus, The White Horse Inn and the Merry Widow, Italian songs, hits from the musicals and much much more. Arguably the Sunshine Coast's finest location Flaxton Gardens is owned by Georgina and Alan Thompson, winners of a '3 rosette' restaurant award in the UK.

Gather on the terrace to enjoy a pre-dinner drink and canapes as you take in the setting sun and stunning coastal views. Proceed inside and take your place in the banquet hall for an evening of fabulous entertainment set around a sumptuous meal -- two courses, tea & coffee. A feast of opera and song will be presented by renowned OPERATIF! artists, soprano Jennifer Parish & baritone Stewart Cameron, and special guests, champion accordianist Joseph Castorina, Italian-born tenor Virgilio Marino; Sally Harrison, ( dramatic soprano ) and Elizabeth Smalley ( coloratura soprano ) all accompanied by the fabulous Scottish-born pianist John Woods.
