ATTENDEES : Most people travelling for OPERA in Paradise come for one week, flying in on a Saturday ( for example) and then flying home the following Saturday. There are great 8,10 and 11 specials also available from some departure cities. Direct flights leave from Auckland ( Sunday ) , Brisbane ( Saturday and Sunday ), Melbourne ( Friday ) , and Sydney ( Saturday, Sunday and other days ). Newcastle flights are direct one way and via Sydney the other way.
