Staged Opera Productions

OPERATIF! has produced three highly successful fully staged opera productions. These were at major Brisbane venues,Cremorne Theatre (QPAC ), The Qld Conservatorium Theatre and the Suncorp Theatre. The concept for all of these productions was to create something suitable for touring throughout Queensland, Australia and overseas. Unfortunately due to a lack of funding support it has been impossible thus far. We continue to lobby for and encourage official government support for a smaller, stream-lined and efficient second company in Queensland.

* 'Madama Butterfly' - a reduced touring production of the Puccini masterpiece in a re-worked English translation with cast of 6 singers and 3 actors, who create background/continuity and an added element of drama.
