Stopping over in the exciting city of Dubai we begin to get to know each other during our private charter lunch cruise...seeing the sights of this exotic city from our air-conditioned cruiser. After a good night's sleep in Dubai, we fly to Paris then head straight to the Loire Valley, beginning our tour slowly with stunning scenery and majestic chateaux, spending two nights. Moving on to the romantic 'City of Love,' Paris..we spend 5 nights and enjoy performances...Lucia di Lammermoor at Bastille Opera, La Dame aux Camelias at the magnificent Opera Garnier and a night of fun and spectacle at The Lido! We visit galleries, walk the many boulevards, cruise the Seine and allow ample free time for you to slowly drink in your surroundings.

Leaving Paris, we take the famous TGV fast train, spiriting through the Auvergne with its sweeping valleys ( made famous in the series of songs by Canteloube) and the start of the The Rhone Valley then on to the French Riviera. We spend 4 nights in our beautiful, heritage hotel, right in the heart of things on the Promenade des Anglais. We visit Monaco and fascinating smaller surrounding towns as well as enjoying our base, the cosmopolitan and artistic Nice. Next we move to central Provence where Peter Mayle wrote his charming memoires...and made us yearn for his charming lifestyle. Our hotel, a stunning 15th Century monastery is right in the heart of Avignon with its famous bridge. From here we'll visit several smaller towns, enjoy a 'Long Lunch' and spend time exploring many delights. When it's time to keep heading toward Barcelona, we set off again and en route, explore the fascinating, Languedoc with its walled city of Carcassonne dating back to Roman and medieval times. We also visit the famous salt lands with their flocks of Flamingos and herds of small black bulls cared for by the famous French 'cowboys' on their snow white horses. This is a fascinnating region. We spend the night in a beautiful chateau on the banks of the Midi river.

Moving on we cross the border into Spain checking in to yet another stunning, centrally located hotel in bustling Barcelona. Here we will will enjoy four unfogettable nights. We'll take in a 'Night of Stars' Verdi opera concert, in the magnificent Licieu opera house and a thrilling evening of Flamenco in one of the citie's oldest establishments. We'll wander the famous pedestrian way, Los Ramblos, which cuts a swathe through the city and makes it so easy to enjoy, galleries, historic sites and landmarks, colourful village markets and quaint shops. We'll also taste the delights of the local Spanish cuisine and be swept up by the marvellous offerings of the capital of Catelonia.

This is but a broad overview of our wonderful tour. It is tailor-made in every aspect and put together based upon our own special wishes - You will enjoy experiences 'off the beaten track' as well as the 'must do' highlights. There will be free time too but always, Stewart, Jennifer and our expert Tour Manager will be on hand to look after you, to make suggestions as to how you might spend an afternoon or a couple of hours and to make sure all runs smoothly and easily.
