Weather weather arrangements
Although we expect the day to be fine on the 18th September,
we have of course made plans just in case the weather
is not kind to us.
We always book a suitable wet weather venue and make
the decision on the morning of the concert, if the weather
is looking threatening. This is located not far away
and was the venue for a memorable concert several years ago when
one of these performances was affected by rain ( if was in January however )
The acoustics are wonderful.
We would never have you, our valued patrons sit in the rain to watch us,
and our valued sponsors, Nigel Bland Pianos, would never risk damage
to the beautiful Grand Piano that is being used on the day.
( rain and opera gowns do not go together either ! )
So...we are hoping for a beautiful fine day, but if the weather looks threatening,
please check this page for updates, call our office number 1300 308 385 or
simply look for prominent signage down by the entrance to the Botantic Gardens/ Lake Macdonald..
